PDF Master – Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and AppWiz, the publisher of PDF Master for Android. By installing or using PDF Master, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

PDF Master is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

How we handle data is explained separately in the PDF Master Privacy Policy.

2. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use PDF Master on Android devices you own or control, under these terms. AppWiz keeps all rights in the app that these terms don’t give you, except for the open-source components described in section 6.

3. Pro purchases and subscriptions

PDF Master is free to download. Pro is one unlock that covers every Pro tool. It is sold through Google Play in three forms:

  • Lifetime: a one-time payment that includes every update.
  • Monthly and Yearly: subscriptions.

All three unlock the same Pro. There is no trial, and there are no limits on the features you paid for.

Subscriptions renew automatically through Google Play until you cancel them in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Billing, payment methods and cancellation are handled by Google Play.

7-day refund, no questions asked. This covers a first purchase and an annual renewal. Within 48 hours of buying, ask Google Play. From 48 hours to 7 days, email us at contact@appwiz.net and we process the refund within 72 hours. A refund removes Pro. The details are on the Refunds & subscriptions page.

4. Your files and your content

Every tool in PDF Master runs on your device. Your files are never uploaded, and there is no account.

Your files remain yours. You are responsible for the files you open, change and share with the app, and for having the right to use them, including documents, images and signatures that belong to someone else.

5. Acceptable use

Please use PDF Master lawfully. In particular, don’t use it to:

  • forge or falsify documents or signatures, or to mislead anyone with a document you changed;
  • open, edit or remove protection from documents you have no right to access or change;
  • infringe copyright or other rights of other people.

Don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app, and don’t try to get around how Pro is unlocked. Don’t reverse-engineer the app, except where the law or an open-source licence allows it.

6. Open-source components

PDF Master is built partly on open-source software. Those components are listed, with their licences, in the app under Settings → Open-source licences. Each component’s own licence applies to it and takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Software can have bugs, and PDF files vary widely. PDF Master is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that the app will be error-free, work without interruption, or give the result you expect with every file.

Keep backups of important files. Before you change a document you can’t afford to lose, keep a copy of it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AppWiz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost files, lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of PDF Master or your inability to use it. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded or limited by agreement.

9. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may add, change or remove features of PDF Master over time.

If these terms change, we will update this page and its effective date. If you keep using PDF Master after a change, the updated terms apply to you.

10. Termination

You can stop using PDF Master at any time by uninstalling it. To stop a subscription, cancel it in Google Play as described in section 3.

If you break these terms, your licence to use PDF Master ends. Sections 4, 7 and 8 keep applying after that.
